Abduct intel from your enemies to sabotage their plans, observe the oddities of human life, blow up bosses, and mutate into a variety of powerful Alien forms in order to take down the not-so-secret Agents that are dead set on ruining your day. Difficulty level is set per-player one player can be on Friendly and one player on Insane, no problem! Master Alien acrobatics at your own pace flipping, diving, grenade jumping, head riding, down-shooting, dodging and tossing enemies  While the game is based on the current 5th edition of D&D it has tweaked these mechanics ever so slightly to help convert a table-top role playing game to a video game. It is absolutely not a total conversion – and if you’re a Rules Lawyer who plays D&D and are likely to get disappointed when things don’t exactly match up with the table top RPG, then you’re likely going to be a bit disappointed.

The game as is, as of Patch 6, is still a very fulfilling experience and even in its current form has a great deal of replay value. Because each character you create will have different strengths and weaknesses, different ability point distribution, different skill proficiency, and the fact that different classes can get different and class-specific dialogue options makes replaying this game actually something that I find myself wanting to do, and not dreading. (I love you Fort Joy – but I wont miss re-running you But if you want to play an already really fun Early Access game, and have meaningful feedback that actually gets taken on board and implemented by the Dev’s (several suggestions I made almost a year ago have been added to the game!) – then doooooo it.
