Instead of sad and depressed, I was filled with joy and happiness in tears. Touched by the art-style, touched by the company by strangers on the journey, helping along each other.

The story is that you play as a robed pilgrim in the desert. You see a shooting star hit a mountain and now are compelled to check it out yourself. What follows is a “journey” (haha) through ruins, underground, and so much more to reach the mountain and find out what is the light. Journey’s controllers are fairly simple. You have movement, an interact button, and jump when your scarf has energy. Your pilgrim will automatically climb stairs and other platforms if they are not too tall and the controls are very nice. As you progress in the game you will be able to jump and glide for longer and the feeling is beautiful.
