About Animal Simulator:
The game is great but i wish they would add more to it and hopefully they will. Its very fun for the first hour or so but it gets repetitive quickly. I didn’t want to believe the reviews at first so i tried it myself and yes. it gets hella repetitive and boring in a way. But if you’re bored and have nothing to do and you love animals this is amazing. The game has huge potential so i hope they will add way more to it. I would love to see if we could build our own cages, meet the new owners, maybe even rescue animals not to just get them in the shelter. Maybe even have more story behind each animal. Maybe some pregnant animals and you could help them deliver puppies and so on…i have so many ideas for this game and how it could improve. I love the game overall.
The animal models are very simple and the variety of cats and dogs are limited. You only get big dogs and they all kinda looks the same other than the colour. The animals also only behave the same way despite they have different personalities. Interactive with the animals are very limited and oversimplified. Not much you can do interns of fitting to individual needs of the animals. They simply are all the same. Also, I don’t think it’s needed to expend the shelter that big. You can’t really take care of that many animals at once with only one player. Plus, it’s very hard to earn the money needed for expansion. I was really looking forward to the adoption part of the game. It was pretty disappointing that you only get to click on the the buttons on the computer to see if the person matches the animal’s needs and that’s it. There’s no visitation, home visit, nor at least a talk to the candidates.
Once you find a match, you just send the animal off like a parcel.
Overall the game gets pretty repetitive and just boring.
