This is nothing but a cash grab. The original game’s bugs are still present. The engine struggles when the crowd density is high and this is when the bugs mostly show themselves. The combat is frustratingly inconsistent where the counter doesn’t work sometimes. The performance is better in the remastered but there were still drops in crowded locations especially the cities.The parkour hasn’t aged well, Connor would more often than not jump to places where you don’t want him to, sometimes leading you to fail main or optional mission objectives.

I do not remember this being a problem with the original game, but the minimap doesn’t seem to be working correctly with this one. Enemy Markers show up for enemies that are already dead, and sometimes they do not show up even with enemies being there.I personally like Tyranny of King Washington campaign as a concept. However, the combat bugs amplified by the increased enemy density spoil the experience. However, I still enjoyed the “superpowers”, all 3 of them. But with the length of this DLC being so small, I don’t think I can recommend a purchase of this game based on this DLC.

Coming to the inclusion AC Liberation, well it is a PS Vita port in the original place and the game is therefore far more shallower than the other AC offerings. Honestly, I have no feelings about this. I wouldn’t have cared if it was a part of this package or not. Its an okay game, with some new mechanics like the “persona” system which wasn’t as impactful as I thought it would be.

It is literally just Assassin’s Creed 3 with some changes to the graphics, not even better, just different. Snow looks terrible now for one and they removed the particle effects inside of buildings that make it look just so boring. The only thing that “updates” the game is supporting higher resolutions. I don’t get why they did this. I received this game as a bundle in the AC: Odyssey deluxe edition and the short version is that this is not worth the money they are asking for it by any means. . But for PC players this is pathetic. Do not buy this game at full price.

I know that not everyone likes this assassins creed but as a massive fan of this series of games i just had to play this one too. let down massively.The only way i would recommend assassins creed 3 is if they brought back the original version to steam again. Unfortunately this REMASTER is a solid 3/10 for me. Ruined assassins creed 3 for me and i dont think ill ever buy a remastered assassins creed again (especially not after the failure of assassins creed 2s remaster)
