Well i recommend this game to you guys BUT the draw rates are trash. I spent 28K orbs on premium summon because i wanted to get Byakuya Kuchiki 5th anniversary version and Sosuke Aizen 6th anniversary version and didn’t get it. My friend got Byakuya Kuchiki 5th anniversary version for the first time summoning on premium summon. I regret spending all my orbs.
Ive been playing this game over the course of the last few years, and ive loved every second of it. Up until the official announcement of the the series return, this has been whats kept the series alive in some way for me
As a disclaimer, this review is only really going to help people who’ve already played the game on mobile or emulator as it’s about the port itself, not the game so if you’re looking to play for the first time, seek another review! 🙂
Overall the Steam release of Brave Souls is a very good port and feels great to play but as I’ll highlight below, it’s not without it’s fair share of flaws:
The Pros:
-Unlocked framerate, looks great at 144fps and plays extremely fluidly
-Will run on pretty much anything with it originally being a mobile game
-Controls are very responsive and translate well to a keyboard
-Controller support via Big Picture (although it does take a bit of work it’s well worth it)
-Makes a lot of tasks much faster like fusing characters or levelling link slots
-Graphically it looks much clearer and soul bomb animations look incredible
-Sound quality is vastly improved over the mobile counterpart, it also has directional audio
-Any load times are SIGNIFICANTLY faster, Brave Battles load almost instantly
