Woke City is the city of future, dreams and hope. Imagine a perfect society where everything is built on equality, where crimes are nonexistent, and anger is just a theory of the past. Immerse yourself into the wokeness. This is the future everyone wants and needs. Story was fine, you play as 3 separate characters and switch between them in the open world and during the story missions.
Story wise each character have their flaws and strengths. Michael who hates himself for being impulsive as he can not help himself most of the time but he wants to get better, Franklin is the most sane character among them with no visible mental problem, he probably represents the voice of reason of the player in the game, and finally Trevor who is the craziest one among them, a bloodthirsty maniac but extremely loyal to his friends. Gameplay wise they all have their own singular unique power. Michael to slow down time on foot, Franklin to slow down time while driving and Trevor to go on a rampage.
However the player is limited in the open world compared to other GTA titles. You can not go into interior places as much as you used to be able to in the GTA 4 for example. Property aspect of the game is weak compared to Vice City, you just buy the place and it’s working. In Vice City, you had to do each property’s special mission for the place to start generating money.
