Amazing Prison Simulator that’s very detailed and in-depth focusing on very minute details a lot of big publishers would gloss over. Can be very easy and fun, or an extreme challenge to overcome depending on the settings and mutators you apply. Buy all the DLC for the best eperience. Only concern is I wish the Escape Mode was like the console version. There is hardly anything to do in escape mode compared to Xbox/PS4.I really do love this game however once a prison has over 500 prisoners/staff – it becomes unstable and very slow which is a problem when you want a large prison, also if your prison runs for 100 days straight without exiting.
So I’ve been playing the game a lot recently, figured I’d try out the new DLC. So I bought it and loaded up the prison I’ve been playing. About an hour in and I got bored. About half the features they said have been added were not working. The rooms did not show up, the bad cops weren’t doing anything, gangs really had not changed that much. Turns out, things literally had not changed. Started a new prison and it started working. So I guess RIP old prisons if you want to use the new gang systems. Which is honestly a bit of a bummer. But carrying on, I started the new prison and got about another 3 hours in before I felt like I’ve seen what the DLC offers.
