You play as Norix, a dead man resurrected by Devon’s wizard named Urius for an important mission but Norix only remember that The Absent took his head. Explore Dungeons, Forests and many other environments to find your head and the existence of “The Absent”. Norix also has an interesting set of abilities like he can see invisible things and can manipulate time.

Experience Dead Man’s intense story from a headless dead man to a hardened survivor. An All-New Third Person Experience: Explore mysterious caves and jungle environments filled with environmental puzzles, visceral combat, and abilities to learn. Fight to Live: Gain experience, and upgrade Norix’s weapons and abilities to survive the environment’s hostile inhabitants. Abilities: Learn unique abilities to help Norix find his head.

Our journey is to follow the waves of this foreign land, while in search of answers, clues or anything that might help us get back the lost head. Now, the whole concept is very simple, but if you’re in for a silly adventure, you’ll most likely chuckle here and there. Story wise the game unfolds itself through short and simple dialogues between the main character and other key-related NPC’s throughout the game. Gameplay is also very simple, with our hero Norix, being able to shoot his gun, and use melee for close-combat enemies. We can also throw grenades, dash, jump and climb in order to do some simple platforming. Dash is one of the two most important abilities Norix can learn, the other being the ability to slow down time. Perhaps the most interesting one, out of all the included features.
