Started “The Developer”, developed own engine, then developed game while clicking on all options that were displayed, made a fortune with a perfect “first” game, quit “The Developer” after 12 minutes, requested refund. During this I noticed negative aspects, including: Windows popping up on top of each other, poor localization (German) which leave no idea what you actually clicked on for some options, game can’t be quit from the main menu, game doesn’t convey any idea of cohesive mechanics or balacing, which leads to just clicking on all available options during development rather than making a “wise choice”, the bubble-click-boost mechanic gets old and annoying after just a few minutes.
