Overview Guardian of the future:

In this fantasy visual novel, you will play as Miyuri, the heiress of the great Bakuto clan of adherents to ancient martial arts. She has inherited a very important ability from her deceased mother: a mysterious power that can help save the world. The protagonist spends her days training diligently in the hope of increasing extraordinary strength and becoming a full-fledged head of the clan.

She has no idea that soon, her life will change. One fine morning, she receives the news of her imminent marriage to the heir of the enemy Tekiya clan. Lady Miyamoto, the Head of the Bakuto clan, intends to end the cold war between the clans with the help of her granddaughter. This diplomatic marriage will help to withstand the evil that will bring upon the end of the world. Miyuri has inherited a special power, the power of Creation, which she has negligible control over, and little understanding of.

Yet, Tekiya clan is not the biggest problem that she faces. Over the course of many centuries, there have been repeated visits to her reality by a mysterious “phantom”, which appears to be hell-bent on destroying the world, and everybody in it. For good measure, this phantom is attracted by the holder (or “vessel”) of the power of Creation, and is able to use this vessel as a kind of homing device in order to make its returns. The Phantom had given its power to humanity many centuries earlier, and now wants it back.

But there is a further problem: the power it wants comprises both Creation AND Destruction. And wouldn’t you know it? The power has been split between two vessels, and the vessel of the power of Destruction happens to be the heir of the “enemy” Tekiya clan. Previous attempts to save humanity have always resulted in the death of the vessel of Creation. In an attempt to prevent a repeat of past failures, Miyuri is matched for marriage with the Tekiya clan heir, Tamaki; in the hope that their child will merge the powers and be able to sate the unending desire of the deadly Phantom.
