I spent this summer with one of the developers of Jailbreak Lockdown, and he was honestly one of the most chill and genuine people I know. He cared very much about the game he worked on during our internship, and I know this game is made with the same amount of love and effort. I’ve had the opportunity to play the game early in the testing phase, and back then even in its rougher shape, it was a blast to play with a few friends. There’s a large number of different paths to take to escape, and for the guard it feels like a frantic game of diner dash, with a massive feeling of relief if you can catch the prisoner.
I would recommend this game for anyone who wants a frantic party game to play with friends. It’s a blast! The art style in this game is downright gorgeous and the price of the game is reasonable. I imagine that the game could be a short game based on the price. I would love to see more Adventure Boy games in the future with the hopes that they will be longer. Simply put I am in love with the Adventure Boy Series. There are some things here that may be a little sensitive to children, as they do reference drugs and some substance abuse, but other than that the game is still pretty entertaining.
