Body Tuning: Bumpers, Hoods, Fenders, Lights, etc. Suspension Tuning: Wheels, Rims, Tyres, Camber, Coilovers, Spacers etc. Load custom vinyls/liveries to the car. Online Races: Time Attack, Minimum Speed, Do not Crash, Avoid Traffic, etc. Online Car Meets and Hotspots. Drift with RWD and AWD cars. High Speed Police Chases. Rating system: Avoid traffic at high speeds, complete races, escape police chases, play online and PvP with someone else to gain more rating. This game is actually an MMO. When you load into the streets, you are automatically placed in a lobby with real people.
The customization is bare bones cosmetically. Some of the liveries either don’t fit the car or are stretched. However, the performance customization is actually good due to being able to engine swap. Cop chases are laughably easy to beat. Races are fairly short. Handling actually feels really good considering that it went for an arcade feel instead of sim. The traffic for some reason isn’t the same for everyone.
This game is one step away from getting a copyright strike. In short, for an independent indie dev’s first game, this isn’t that bad. When a car reaches the redline (the starting civic, at least), they did not bang on the redline, instead the rpm slows down to a crawl. An upgraded car was able to bang the redline, but if it’s on the last gear, it slows to a crawl again. The UI could use a makeover, especially the speedometer. The gear indicator is way too small, and is the same color as the rpm numbers. Could get confusing for some. Colors for car body and wheels are pre-determined, even if they have customizations. Would be better to implement a colour wheel or an RGB slider.
