It’s a decent start for a coop melee VR game, but it’s quite far away from being fun in my opinion. Half of the attacks skeletons do will still hit you even though you blocked it, you can literally hear the weapons clashing together and you still take damage. Enemies have wayyyyyyyy too much hp. You walk into a room with like 4 skeletons instantly coming for you, one skeletons takes like 3 whole minutes to kill. The biggest mistake the Devs have made in my opinion are the Goblin NPCs. Im 1.93m tall, i can fight multiple skeletons at a time no problem but one goblin shows up and im done, unless i sit down and fight while sitting. It’s just not fun fighting skeletons and having to concentrate on some small b*tch half of the time, thats just cutting your toe nails, theyre literally just annoying. Combat doesn’t feel polished, weapons barely deal any damage, stabbing is the most bugged thing ive seen in a while and while you can grab skeletons and throw them, its nowhere near as useful and fun as in B&S for example.
Going on a crusade into the dungeon with friends and messing around can be a great time, made even better when you actually split the loot to try and get everyone geared while sprinkling in a lil gambling after each floor.
That said, wait for a sale that is above 20% at least and see if you know people that also are wanting to get it because the lack of enemy types and just how painful the RNG loot system seems to be can be a big drawback if you are going in solo. I know this game might not be for everyone but I encourage you to try and see for yourself if you vibe with this game or not.
I kinda hope one day you can reroll stats and or the items level so people that like X type of weapons are not forced to use things they hate because RNGesus hates them with a passion, always making them low level and giving stats that are unwanted.
