Overview MARSUPILAMI HOOBADVENTURE:
Discover the Marsupilamis as you have never seen them before in an adventure full of surprises! Punch, Twister and Hope are three Marsupilamis who live a peaceful life in Palombia. While the three companions open a cursed sarcophagus by playing with debris on a beach, they inadvertently release a mysterious ghost that puts a terrible curse on all animals. Fortunately for them, the Marsupilamis are immune. Our three heroes will have to go on an adventure and chase the ghost in order to ward off the spell. Very polished platformer with fun level design and enjoyable music.
There are a lot of similarities to the DKC games, which I love. Plenty of collectibles to find. It’s a really fun game but like others have mentioned, it’s going to crash on you at random times. Not necessarily frequently, but it will. Having said this, however, if you decide to go with a necro build, you’re going to have a bad time in The Crucible due to the crashing. The game just can’t handle the necro along with enemy waves in a small compacted area like that.
I know I gave this game a thumbs up, and I stand by it. While I’m getting screwed in The Crucible with my necro, I was able to play all of the rest of the game relatively painlessly. It’s really fun and worth the time to play through it! To mitigate this the developers have added a companion, in the form of a crow, who the player can initiate in order to find a pathway for the quest currently selected,
but the pathfinding of the crow is frustrating. I may as well have employed a blind bird as my guide through this soulless world for all the actual good this companion does as it frequently gets itself confused when guiding the player. Vigil Games seems to have fallen into the trap that bigger is better when as a matter of fact the entire game drags because of the size of it.
