You are a tourist who came to Russia from another country. By the will of fate you find yourself in a provincial town. Now you can finally get to know the local traditions and culture. But when the time to return home came, the borders got closed… Now you have to stay in a small rented apartment. Staying in a damp, poorly heated place for too long makes you ill. You decide to go outside to get some fresh air and buy medicine at the local pharmacy. A game that brings up burning topics. It is both soulful and sad, atmospheric. It’s cool that there are in-game achievements. I would also like to point out a minus: the game has problems with optimization. My computer can barely handle it.

Honestly, I am often highly critical of stuff that I care a lot about because I see even more potential in it. The perfect is the enemy of the good? So, I am going to take this time to get some criticisms out of the way too, but don’t be fooled, True Colors & Before the Storm has earned the developers at least one more person who will simp and be hyped for their future projects, after two stellar games, they have earned at least the next purchase. Overall, it is a great game, even if I think Before the Storm was better, but I think Deck Nine makes amazing romance stories when they want to, sadly True Colors isn’t a romance. I hope their next game will focus more on romance again, slice of life, and the relationships between some main characters, and go a bit lighter on the whole mystery aspect.
