This game is one of the few free games I spent money on. Why? I simply think the developers earned it. Even playing entirely free, it is still highly enjoyable. The battle pass just lets you unlock some snazzy visuals. This game is one of those that are “easy to learn, but hard to master”. There are so many ways to play, but, obviously, some people will be cheesing the current “meta”. After 80+ hours, I just recently won my 500th ranked game (the hardest achievement of this game imo). On that front, 100%-ing this game is really doable (and enjoyable). The only thing I don’t like about this game, and this is just me being bitter, are the premade duo people. They seemingly just mow through games when they match with duos that are randomly put together.
I am a 44 year old father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my son, who is now 14. My son recently started This game and in less than a week, he had already played for over 20 hours. This was terrible for me, as it was already hard enough for me to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching videos on Tiktok. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, did the tutorial but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do.
