Overview Necesse:
Start your adventure and explore the infinite procedurally generated world of Necesse. Mine, fight, craft and gear up to conquer powerful enemies that drop unique items. Start a settlement, travel to other islands with unique biomes, monsters, loot and recruit settlers on your way. Necesse can be played solo or with multiple people straight from the beginning. Progress with your companions and fight scaled bosses all the way to the end. Choose your weapon and gear to fight, change it up at any time, or mix and match to find the best setup for the situation.
Mine ores and find treasure to craft better armor, weapons and trinkets. Encounter challenges along the way and refine your strategy to overcome spider nests, vampire crypts and more. Bring your newfound loot back to your settlement and settlers to use. Recruit settlers, care for them and have them work on your farms, animals and workstations. Trade with them and defend their homes from raiders. Make a storage system, cooking stations and alchemy table to supply your next adventure and encounter.
For an Early-Access game, my husband and I have yet to run into any bugs. Ten hours in, we’ve yet to even run out of fun, as we have just beaten the first boss (3 times haha, that first encounter is a doozy though, and you get a bit different loot with each win). It is absolutely worth the $5 on Winter Sale, and even for $10 it’s pretty worth it if you are already a big Terraria fan (as this is extremely similar).
Multiplayer works great, no hiccups, just remember to get all your friends on a team (bottom right corner when you’re looking at your inventory). We gifted this out to several folks and hope to have a fun time doing some PvP games with it like Capture the Flag and building forts and such. 22 hours of game play and there is still more possible. Solo, co-op, maybe even getting a bunch of people together with teams and PvP. Generated words, different biomes, above ground, under ground caves, deeper underground caves, dungeons.
