everything worked flawlessly to me. while not the most graphically demanded game in the world, the game shows that it was tested. and tested rigorously. zero issues so far (aside from the slightly nauseating overhead camera wich i got used pretty quickly). so… everything from the classic is here on this one: the rock n’ roll on the races (generic, but honestly, surprisingly good soundtrack), the action, the explosions (albeit on a minor scale), and new mechanics like the drifting wich grants you the crucial nitro to stay ahead of the AI, the shield wich is usefull if you got good reflexes, and a very respectable selection of cars for a game of this scope. i gotta say, it is an extremely pleasant experience for me, and even a refreshing one, seeing a game as polished as this hit the market, even if it is still on early access. of course there is stuff to be ironed out, but tbh, it already feels complete.
