Shooting is satisfying and gives you great feedback in the form of probabilities and modifiers for every shot you attempt. Dunking is a unique mini-game that makes you earn your points in the paint instead of feeling like a gimme. Defense is a little less satisfying, as playing proper positioning doesn’t feel rewarding, and the game doesn’t give you much feedback on it. If you do manage to force a bad shot, rebounding is confusing due to the choppy ball movement on missed shot animations, and there’s not a clear indication of where the ball is going, nor how you need to move to grab the rebound. Most of the time, it feels like luck of the draw.
