Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a platform video game developed by Toys for bob. The game is a collection of first three video games in the series, Spyro The Dragon, Spyro 2, and Spyro Year of the Dragon. The game is a 3D platform game as the player controls the titular character as he ventures across the Dragon world to defeat the Gnasty Gnorc as well as rescue his fellow characters and recover the stolen treasure. The game consists of six dragon homeworld each of which is acted by the dedicated hub containing different portals that act as a gateway to different levels. The game progresses as you talk to the balloonist who transports Spyro to the next world on a hot air balloon after the player has found the required things in the current given world. In addition to the regular stages, there is also a boss fight and a hidden fight stage that involves flying through an environment and destroying a number of objects.

The levels in the Spyro are open-ended and revolves around exploring and collecting different collectibles in order to progress in the game. Each stage has different dragons whom you must turn back to normal by locating and stepping on their statue bosses. The dragons will guide you at the different levels of the game and their respective locations will act as a save point after the dragon has been freed. Another important thing in the game is the dragon collectibles.
