About Star Wars Battlefield:
This game is awesome, the graphics are insane, it’s Star Wars! My only problems with THIS Battlefront are: VERY low player count (I had to join like 4 different Discord channels to coordinate gameplay sessions) which brings me to my 2nd problem Aside from a few tutorial/Co-op achievements, most of them REQUIRE online play with other human players (some require a minimum of 16 people!! Both issues obviously only bother Achievement freaks like me because they did add a Skirmish mode to fight bots, but you can’t get XP or Achievements in it The game and all the characters are incredible though! So if you don’t care about achievements and love Star Wars; check it out!
After playing some of Battlefront II’s single player campaign I decided to pick up Battlefront on sale. I was disappointed to find out that it is just a few skirmishes that are playable v AI, ad no campaign. those maps are way too small for fighter battles. half my deaths were “going out of bounds” chasing an enemy fighter that was allowed to go there. I don’t get games just for multiplayer myself. With all the reviews reporting multiplayer dead due to these big game companies inability to deal with hackers, frequent pay to win cash grabs, grind to get close to matching existing players, and I am not a fan of the typical PvP “environment”- I want a game to relax, not a second job that costs me. Lately single player games are just better, or at least games with a decent single player campaign that gives you something when multiplayer isn’t worth it.
