I was 13 year old, when this game was published the 16th November, I even played the BETA, The hype was intense for a Battlefront and I must say, 2015-2018 it was pure fun and gameplay, I was very active in this game, I was level 80, I used to play the DLT-19 as a shocktrooper with my cooling down, gas grenade and shield cards with Body guard perk. The DLC’s : the death star, Bespin and Jabba’s palace! And of course Rogue One with those Shore trooper! Who were really good DLC’s in my opinion. Without mentioning those heroes who were very powerful and fun to play with, my favorite being Bossk and Dengar. I was sadly hacked in 2019 and was forced to delete my origin account and lose all my progression.
Now I’m 19 year old, I bought it today the 11th December 2021 and it broke my heart seeing this game without player. It was hard for me to accept it and I did any research if Star Wars Battlefront was really dead, and sadly it is…Writing this review and giving a positiv feedback is the only thing I can do today, I will never forget the good memories I had in this game. Sadly… Every era has an end. Thank you, Star Wars Battlefront for being part of my childhood. Force was strong with this one back in 2015/16. First AAA Star Wars game in years. Many friends played it. Spent over 200 hours in Origin version. Game wasn’t perfect at all but it had its own magic while hype for new SW movie was real. Huge lack of content and simple gameplay was redeemed by mind-blowing audiovisuals that holds up even until today.
