So i don’t usually review games, but i love MMOS, and i wanted to give sword of legends a fair try.
Where to start, the levelling is tedious, you want to get max level before long, because everything you do prior to that is pointless, you literally get handed starter lvl 45 pve and 50 pvp sets when you reach max level, so you want to rush.
But the it is bad, and boring, you literally jump from zone to zone, collecting as many quests as you can, doing them all, and delivering them, now repeat 50 times and you are max level.
Nice you are now max level so the real game can begin, well you get 2 sets of armor one is for PVE another for PVP.
It is good and bad good, if you just want to do one of them, you can just focus on the one you want, bad for the fact if you are
225 hours in so far! Loving the game. As a long time MMO player, this game really respects the player’s time, as it is more on the casual side. Takes 15-20 hours to level up to max level (37, aka “Student1”). Large daily/weekly system for PvE/PvP content, so no arduous grinds as most things are capped out. Combat is extremely fun, and the dungeons & raids so far are fun! Gear progression is vertical as time goes on.
There are some bugs, lag, bad Chinese translations, and other parts of the game that are poorly ported to the West. But for $40, no pay to win, and super fun gameplay, would definitely recommend this game, especially to anyone coming off of one of the bigger MMOs! (WoW, FFXIV, ESO, NewWorld, GW2, etc)
