Nothing from my original review has changed, but I must add a word of advice: play the c-sides before farewell, the c-sides can be unlocked by beating all the b-sides, which can be unlocked by finding a secret cassette tape in every normal chapter. Use guides if you want, I honestly used guides for a lot of things in this game. Farewell (a.k.a. chapter 9) is the hardest chapter in the entire vanilla game,

and I recommend beating some mods before it as well, to just really prepare you for this beast of a chapter. Simply a delightful platformer. A masterclass at level design. Update Nov. 24, 2021: I changed the date of my previous update. Anyways, chapter 9 has a great story that kind of feels like its own game. Beating it for the first time took me three days, which is coincidentally how long the first 7 chapters took for me to beat in one go. Guess it really is its own game. I’m currently trying to get a secret thing in a certain path that involves the blocks and platforms just floating in the electricity. Probably the smoothest platformer I’ve ever played, featuring good music and awesome levels, an excellent example for retro games trying to achieve the same formula.
