The Last Campfire is an adventure, a story of a lost ember trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home. Its story is allegorical: Ember’s journey is just like life itself, the end of it appears to have no meaning, no purpose, that’s because what truly matters is the path we take and not its final destination. Being life ephemeral, all we should hope and strive for is for it to be excellent while it lasts.
We do that by searching for the common good, passing our hope and joy to the ones we meet in our way and making their journey meaningful, memorable and worth living. While it has overwhelmingly positive reviews it’s worth noting if you look at the achievements only 35% of people that have played it have completed it. For a game that takes 5hrs to 100% it seems incredibly low. What an amazing game. It’s cute with a beautiful unique artstyle, a lot of exploration and puzzles. The gameplay is relaxing and slowpaced and the story feels quite heavy (in a good way), there is a lot to contemplate for me.

The narrator has a wonderful voice and voice acting and reminds me a bit of one of my favourite music artists. Can absolutely recommend, but it hits different when you’re dealing with mental health. What a lovely game. Graphics are great and the controls can be done with one hand. Now, I like this cause I could be munching on something while I play. The camera angles can be a little annoying, but overall, this a wonderful game to just zone out to and have some peaceful casual gaming.
The narrator has a very soothing voice and the music soundtrack is something I could listen to often. Great game, its visually beautiful. The story is interesting to follow, not really hard to understand. The puzzle part also not too difficult, i don’t find any puzzle stressed me out. Highly recommended if you want chill puzzle game but not stressing you out. All the achievements also not hard to get, just enjoy the gameplay and check every place.
