This game is incredibly fun, I loved playing it through, and it’s aged well. It’s a really good thief game, and thief/stealth games are personally my favorite. The only issue I have is not with this game, but with the sequel. Now I know the sequel isn’t out yet, and that’s why you should take what I’m saying with a grain of salt, but looking at the images for the sequel, it just looks like an alternative version of Thief Simulator. I think based on the screenshots, it looks too similar, and I feel like it’ll just be what feels like more thief simulator 1 content, and I mean if it is it’ll definitely get tiring. I won’t get my hopes too high. I really look forward to it and hope it’s going to be as fun as the original, and not just an expansion on the original.
Third day in a row playing this nonstop, HELP ME! I’m still on the same day of the review and I played 10 HOURS IN A ROW. THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!! At the time of this review, only 30 minutes played, but I can say that this is the kind of game I was looking for. A true stealth experience and probably the 1st stealth game in a contemporary setting. The problem is that in only half a hour I got soft locked in various aspects and then I have to restart the game (restarting the checkpoint does not work). If that keeps happening constantly, it will get very annoying. Anyway, those issues apart, I’m very happy to have found this one.
