It was worse on launch, so it got better, but object interactivity still needs some polish. The companions AI is kinda idiotic, which makes them rush into combat if you sneakily shoot a target and you didn’t kill it from the first shot, they rush into combat. However, devs said the companions AI is completely reworked in the new update coming in early September(?) so fingers crossed. You can’t save during random encounters while traveling. You can’t upgrade inventory size. This game is NOT an RPG, if that’s what you’re looking for, and that’s what you believe Weird West to be, turn back. Weird West is an action adventure game with inconsequential binary decisions that will in no way shape your experience. That aside, the game has numerous issues, and sadly they’re not technical.
