Treasure Hunting Simulator is exactly what it advertises itself as, and nothing more. As you do this, there will be jobs and side jobs to complete at each location before you can move on to the next.
These can be to simply dig up a certain amount of treasure, complete a short time trial, or to take pictures of landmarks. These do a good job of providing some variety, while sticking with the treasure hunting mood. Completing jobs rewards you with money and prestige, both of which are necessary in order to buy new metal detectors, which in turn are necessary in order to find better treasure, which can be sold for more money. It’s a very simple gameplay loop that can be completed at your own pace, so you can take as much time as you want to explore the beautiful locations. There’s a total of 11 destinations to be explored, and each one is very unique, taking you from caves, to beaches, to castles, to desert temples, there’s plenty of variety.
