I was surprised to find out that the game had more than one type of enemy. The other types are the mutated version of the base virus. There is a huge difference between these different types of viruses.
These are small in size & move way faster than the other types. They can be killed in one spray but you need to kill them before they hit you which is a herculean task. The Green Virus: They are as big as the Golden Virus but they reduce in size the more you damage them & eventually die. One of these is enough to give you a hard time as it takes multiple sprays to take them down.
The guy on the phone informs you that the only thing that can kill the viruses is a bottle of some antiviral spray (I think, I can’t read the label on the bottle since it’s in Russian). The spray bottle has two shooting modes, normal shots which can be used to hit viruses in mid-range & ADS shots which are meant for close-range encounters. I didn’t even use the latter firing mode even once since the normal shots were sufficient for close & mid-range.
