Is Conqueror’s Blade worth playing? Yes for the most part, especially if you enjoy PvP and games like Total War, For Honor or Chivalry. These elements that lets you control your character in combat, on top of your own army to wreak havoc or defend your territory is both exciting and chaotic. The PvE side of the game is not the best, but is still necessary in order to get the best out of your class progression. As far as being a free to play title goes, you won’t find any brazen pay to win tactics here which is always a good thing. Give it a shot if you need your tactical medieval PvP fix. In short it is a hidden gem. If you are bored of cookie-cutter asian MMOs, give this a try. This game is amazing, it has a very fair free-to-play model where you are not at a disadvantage to credit card warriors. The battles are amazingly fun and chaotic, it is great fun with friends. Their is a great progression system, but it never feels grindy as the pvp battles are so fun and that is how you level up your units and hero, and unlock new units.
Ok so after more hours than I care to admit, this game has reached the top of my most played list. While the journey is fun, the battles are brutal and a sense of achievement is certainly there while you’re progressing your hero and your units .. it must be said .. The game is brutal to new players and it will take a lot of grinding and a very thick skin, to make it to the top. This game (being free) is 100% worth trying. Very unique game with unique battle mechanics.. but very brutal. You will get disheartened but, you can have a lot of fun if you keep pushing! My review explains the brutality so at least you know what you’re getting in to, so watch, prepare and then climb your way to the top. Knowledge is power!
