The most fun naval combat game out there, if you love history, naval combat, or ships, you should definitely install this. It is one of the few games that has kept me coming back.
It’s slow paced and suits any kind of play style, if you want to sneak around you have the subs or destroyers, if you want to deal lots of damage in a short period of time you have cruisers with so many different abilities, and then you have battleships for hard hitting salvos or sitting in the back and sniping, and lastly you have the aircraft carries if you want to play the support or aggressive roles but don’t want to risk dying in the fight.
This game is free to play and would recommend just sticking to the free to play ships, unless there is a ship you really want. I bought some of the dlc ships on a steam sale, and I bought the HMS Hood which I am okay with spending that money, for me it was more about the iconic British battlecruiser over how it actually is in game, although I enjoy playing the Hood regardless.
Pretty awesome game, lots of grinding but if you find a decent group/clan it is very enjoyable. Come over and join the fun, I would advise watching youtubers, like Flambass and Mr. Gibbins for some enjoyable gameplay and maybe be able to ask for tips.
There’s an ineffable quality to this game that makes it great if it clicks. Relatively easy to play even for free, though some purchases (mainly premium) will make your experience a bit more enjoyable.
