It’s honestly not that fun when you realize that if you put most attribute points into strength or agility, then put the rest in defense, you can pretty much win more than 50% of matches if you let RNG do the work and you manage to ruin someone’s armor in a short matter of turns.
Hit chances need to be buffed slightly, and I think it’d be better if higher tier armor lowered your chances of dodge and strength gives a small boost to health along with vitality. I mean what’s the point of armor anyway if you put all your points in either strength or agility just to be able to use higher tier axes, swords or bows to the point it does enough damage to wittle down their 100 points of armor in four turns anyway?
You might as well be wearing tin foil. If I could rate this game based on points, I’d give it a 6, cause this RNG and strength, agility and/or defense focused non-sense is frustrating me a lot. But for now, I’ll not recommend it. I will change it if the randomness factor of this game gets reduced however. I’m not asking for complete removal, I just want skill and awareness to be more of a factor. Not luck taking the wheel on everything.
EDIT: Also stop making items and traps spawn right on you so often. It’s so annoying and unenjoyable when they get a boost item, meanwhile I get a fire trap right underneath.
EDIT 2: Also also, please inspect the AI in 2v2 and FFA Arena. I know they’re Romans, they’re not known for their brains. But they are definitely not supposed to be brain dead to the point where they’d move into the outer rings when it’s clear they’re gonna be covered in fire traps next turn. Seriously, I hate stupid AI as a teammate and they don’t even help me when I have an alliance with them. Make them stop making dumb decisions like walking into the outer rings of the arena during sudden death.
