The game is designed well, the graphic and models look good, there is a lot of content. You can have fun with the game. Sadly the “Free2Play” design is too poor, its not a fair f2p. As a new player you start with a lot of boni and time based premium account, you have players on the first Tiers with similar strength and you reach a good progress. After some time you see the strong imbalance significantly (pay to win or grind to death/with death): You buy new tanks and if you dont have the crew bought by gold or huge amounts of credits, you have a weak crew (less effectiveness in battle! weaker!) You buy new tanks and you need to research a lot, later on its very slow and without research you are too weak in your Tier level (armor, cannon)
Just buying very expensive ammuniton gives you more penetration with same damage (pay 2 win, as normal players cannot really affort this better ammunition altohugh its not based on premium currency – but in fact the price makes it premium Based on that, matches on higher Tiers are pretty unfair for many matches (unless you pay against the disadvantages directly). My last kill criteria: You have a lot of bots in the game filling gaps, which is still fine. However, there are plenty of matches where three different Tiers come together. E.g. you start with your already artificially weakend Tier V tank and then some Tier VII tanks come around and finish you with one or a few hits. You in contrast often don’t damage them really due to the penetration/armor differences.
