I played the original TSW back prior to SWL release, and just got around to picking this up. I intended to play it as a single player RPG, and in this regard, the game is worth a play through. The quests, atmosphere, and story are all fantastic. Nearly all elements of the MMO side of the game are barren, so I would shy away from this if that is the goal. However, when played as a single player experience, I think it is worth it. I don’t like MMORPGs, I think they are boring, and I’ve heard that this game isn’t a particularly good one, either, so I won’t recommend that you play it for the gameplay. I will wholeheartedly recommend it though because the game’s story, setting and artstyle are beautiful and if you are interested in urban fantasy, horror and weird fiction, you should definitely experience this before the game eventually dies. The quests and plot are as amazing as they say.
